Mathison Metalfab Acquires new "Mazak Space Gear 48" Laser
Mathison Metalfab is pleased to announce the acquistion of the new "Mazak Space Gear 48" 2000 watt multi-mode laser.  This laser not only cuts flat (2D) material but can also perform multi-axis (3D) and rotary cutting too.  The software used with this laser will enable Mathison to produce parts faster, hold tight tolerances and reduce costs. Mathison Metalfab is proud to announce ISO 9001:2000 certification.  After interviewing several employees and inspecting many quality documents, DNV's lead auditor expressed confidence in Mathison Metalfab as a company which displays conformance to new ISO requirements and is committed to customer satisfaction.  The standards in this certification ensure Mathison Metalfab customers that  their requirements and expectations will be met allowing for a higher level of customer satisfaction.  In addition to the new ISO certification Mathison Metalfab is pleased to also announce certification as a nationally certified woman-owned small business.  Supplier diversity has become an important criteria for selection as a vendor with our customers.  The woman owned small business status was awarded June, 2003 by the Women's Business Development Center and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.
